What is Prehabilitation?

Prehabilitation, or Prehab, uses the time before an operation to prepare your body and mind for the demands of surgery. Prehab was recommended by your doctor as a key step in preparing you for a faster and successful recovery.

Our Prehab Program

We've partnered with a specialized prehabilitation company to provide you access to their comprehensive program at no cost.

It includes instructional videos, guides, and more, all provided by expert coaches in a clearly organized and understandable format.

Is Prehab Right for You?

This program is designed to help you prepare for surgery and optimize your recovery. We are proud to offer it to patients undergoing major general surgeries, including:


• Bowel Resections (for both cancer and non-cancer surgery)

• Major Abdominal Wall Hernias

• Esophageal or Stomach Surgery


The program can also support patients undergoing shorter or less complex procedures, such as:


• Gallbladder Removal

• Inguinal Hernia Repair


Patients with chronic medical conditions, poor fitness or nutrition habits, or anxiety about surgery may find it especially beneficial.
